Armia Abdo is a southern California native and received his doctorate in physical therapy from Azusa Pacific University and his BS in Kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton. Earlier in his professional career he found a passion for working with spinal disorders. This led him to receive multiple post graduate certifications to advance his understanding to better serve his patients. His training allowed him to become a clinic owner, and mentor eventually establishing spinal manipulation courses as part of a residency program at Coury and Buehler physical therapy. Over the years he has developed his spinal manipulation course to include all the current evidence and best techniques into one course.
Lab Assistant: Dr. David Ha, DPT
David always had an idea of what physical therapy was but really got to experience it when he was injured playing college lacrosse and received physical therapy treatments. He saw how much impact a physical therapist could have in patient’s quality of life and decided to get his doctorate in Phoenix, Arizona. Upon graduation, David returned to California and has been working at Coury & Buehler Physical Therapy. David is passionate about making positive changes in people’s lives by providing the highest level of care possible. He believes that everyone can greatly benefit from what physical therapy offers, which not only pertains to injury rehabilitation but also includes injury prevention, patient management, and education. David has an extensive background in spinal manipulation and has been a lab assistant for Open Packed Spinal Manipulation for the past 3 years.
